BULK UNITS
In an effort to extend the exemplary customer
service we have traditionally provided to our gathering customers,
Settoon Towing serves the bulk Jumbo barge market with innovative
new equipment designed not only to be safer than the traditional
equipment in this market, but also more fuel efficient. Settoon
currently has barges and unit tows ranging in size from 5,500
to 120,000 barrels for transporting petroleum and petrochemical
products in bulk throughout the Inland Waterways of the Gulf
Coast, and the river systems of the United States. Tug boats
range from 600 to 3,200hp and are state of the art in design,
propulsion, and navigational equipment. With the assistance
of our experienced marine personnel and network of strategic
providers, we can provide just about any marine equipment
and or marine service to meet our customers’ needs.
 Some specifics regarding our services and transportation
fleet are as follows:
* Continual compliance with the Responsible Carriers Program
(RCP), governed by the AWO.
* Vetted with: All Major Oil Companies.
* Vapor recovery systems are available to meet customer
requirements.
* Spill containment equipment located on every barge.
* All tugs fully crewed to work 7 days/week 24 hours, non
stop.
* All tows have trained and qualified personnel on board
to work crude oil in accordance with API standards.
